At Guardian Angels we all have names, like four hundred thousand different names. Ive got one for what seems like every day of the week, and contact information and backstories for each of them. This, I will admit, has a certain sparkle about it, it's like “ohhh im so tired of keeping all my names straight.” *Inserts sarcasm* Ya know? But After a while if you really think about it you're almost guaranteed to come across this reasoning: If a name and a character is just as changeable as that, why am I different? Or the all important: If I'm all these people, who am I really?

So thats what were gonna talk about today, some of you may not have multiple identities, but this is still a question that pertains to you because if you think about it you act different ever time your around anyone else.

Hard truth to hear but were all to some degree fake. Many variations of this quote are floating around but basically “Show up as the person you want to be.” We use that without any thought in some cases and thats how we change, thats how we grow. So How is this paired with honesty and down to earthness, (< thats probably not a word but what evs at this point)

Well thats a good question, Its one of those dichotomies of the road we walk. We can go off one end, where we go and are absolutely flakes who are a entirely different person, every time we see another person. Or we could stay the same person all our lives and never grow. I cant tell you where the middle line is cuz if we're honest it moves around all the time even for me.

But I can tell you this: Even when you dont know who you are, God does. I know you have probably heard it before, and probably read over it without much thought. So I'm gonna say it again and its gunna be in caps. EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE, GOD DOES. You cant over exaggerate that, you have so many names you feel like you have to glance at your birth certificate on your way out the door? That's ok, God knows your name, its written on his hands. Feel like you deflate when you get home from a social event? Thats ok God sees the heart.

Isaiah 49:16 says “Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.”

How we gunna wrap this up? How we should probably wrap up all of these posts. What we do is hard. Its hard to do, hard to explain, hard on the body, hard on the head, and hard on relationships. But were not just floundering around doing hard things with no back up, We have got the best back up force in the universe, and he knows your name.
